Location. The Radisson SAS Hotel is located in the Norwegian city of Fredrikstad, Norway. It lies 200 metres from the River Glomma, 500 metres from the old town and 90 kilometres from the city of Oslo.
Hotel Features. This eight storey hotel, opened in 2007, features contemporary architecture. The air conditioned public areas have complimentary wireless Internet access and multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer tour assistance, currency exchange and concierge services. Room service is offered and valet garage parking is available for a surcharge.
The Filini Restaurant and Bar serves Italian specialities in a modern setting. The Lobby Lounge serves drinks and light meals and the SkyBar offers panoramic views across the city.
The hotel has a business centre and a full range of meeting and conference facilities are available.
Guests are entitled to discounted use of the fitness and wellness facilities in the adjoining cultural centre.

Expert Tip. Exasperated by the fact that the Swedes kept burning the city down, the Norwegians built a strongly fortified citadel wall in the 17th century, complete with 130 cannons. It still stands and is 500 metres from the hotel.

From Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL):
Distance to Radisson SAS Hotel is 150 kilometres, approximately two hours' drive.
Getting there. The Airport Express goes to Oslo's Central Station; from there, take a train to Fredrikstad Station, which is one kilometre from the hotel.
Getting around. Fredrikstad has a good public transport system and many attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. The best way to explore the surrounding area is to rent a car.
