Location. Hotel Allegro is located in the Austrian city of Vienna, three kilometres from the centre.
Hotel Features. This five storey hotel is set in a corner property built in traditional style. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide concierge services, and complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby. Parking is available nearby for a surcharge.
The hotel has a lounge bar and a complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning.
Guestrooms. The 52 guestrooms have light decor and simple furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, desks, climate control and direct dial phones. Other standard amenities include safes, minibars and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. Originally built in 1897, destroyed in 1944 and rebuilt in 1945, the Riesenrad, a giant Ferris wheel, is located in the Prater Amusement Park, seven kilometres from the hotel. The wheel played a central role in the Orson Welles film, 'The Third Man'.

From Vienna International Airport (VIE):
Distance to Hotel Allegro is 25 kilometres, approximately 35 minutes' drive.
Getting there. An express train (CAT) leaves the airport every 30 minutes for the City Air Terminal. The journey time is 16 minutes, and single tickets cost 9 EUR. The S 7 S Bahn train runs between the airport and central Vienna, stopping at a number of U Bahn (underground) stations. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Buses run to the city centre, Budapest, Bratislava, and the Westbahnhof and S�dbahnhof railway stations. Taxis to the hotel cost approximately 35 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Vienna city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by a cheap and efficient public transport system, including buses, trams, and S Bahn and U Bahn trains. Taxis can be hailed on the street, but are quite expensive.
