Location. The Rendezvous Sanctuary Resort at Cable Beach offers a relaxed atmosphere in the quiet town of Broome, located on the northwest side of Western Australia. The resort is near the Kimberley region, known for camel rides along the beach and its temperate dry weather. The long stretches of beach facing the Indian Ocean were once the stepping grounds for Japanese merchant involved in the pearl trade hundreds of years ago. Broome's calm, seaside setting has long been known as a pearling and tourist town that doesn't rise above 30,000 people during peak seasons.
Hotel Features. The resort combines the relaxed environs of a rural seaside setting with the cosmopolitan flair of a world class resort. The hotel offers four outdoor pools with pool towels available on the sundeck. Other on site amenities include a newsstand, jewelry shop and mini mart. The resort concierge can arrange tours through Cable Beach. One of the perks of this resort is that it has its own limousine service. The hotel provides car, scooter and 4WD rentals, also.
Guestrooms. Lodging at the Rendezvous consists of self contained apartments featuring studios and one , two and three bedroom villas set in a tropical lagoon. Studios include kitchenettes while the villas have full kitchens plus separate bedrooms and living areas. The three bedroom sanctuaries are a high point in quality and comfort, featuring private pools, LCD screen televisions, barbecue grills, and video game consoles and stereo in the living rooms. All guestroom accommodations feature high speed Internet access, DVD players, televisions and kitchens/kitchenettes that include microwave ovens and refrigerators.
